How to clean and eat geoduck clam

Quang Dang, an Executive Chef, shared a video showing how to clean a geoduck clam and prepare it for consumption.
Geoduck clam, pronounced 'gooey duck', tastes sweet and is loved in Asian countries.
They have a unique shape with a long part called the siphon and the shell. The siphon houses the internal organs.
Geoduck can live for more than 100 years.
They can be eaten raw with spicy chilli sauce, sautéed, or in soups and stews.

Instructions:
Put the clam into boiling water.
Boil for 30 seconds.
Remove the shell.
Separate the mantle (also called breast or the head) from the rest of the body (siphon).
Remove the membrane or skin from the mantle.
Remove the internal organs of the mantle.
Remove the membrane or thick skin off from the rest of the body.
Cut into thin slices.
Saute the meat and enjoy!
