Western Red Cedar is naturally rot and insect resistant, and is widely considered to be one of the best wood species for outdoor projects. Not only does Western Red Cedar hold up well outdoors, it is very attractive and smells nice too!

Western Red Cedar is thermal coefficient, meaning it stays cooler in the hot summer sun, and stays warmer in cool weather.

Hardware

We use stainless steel hardware for our Adirondack chairs. No staples or nails used ever! Stainless steel will not rust and eliminates the potential for unsightly rust stains on your furniture.
