Wat Phnom, one of the most beautiful temples in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Further to my previous post, this is another beautiful temple in Phnom Penh, Cambodia that my sister visited. Its name is Wat Phnom. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wat_Phnom)

This temple is one of the oldest temples in Phnom Penh. It’s situated on a small hill, so it looks outstanding from a far distance.

The stairs are unique and awesome with lovely color. The giant lions and Nagas at both sides look powerful and elegant.

Moreover, there are various sculptures and they are very amazing.

Besides, this temple is impressive with marvelous architecture.

The old white stone pagoda is large and graceful.

The Buddha statue is magnificent and looks sacred. The mural paintings depict the Ramayana story. They are very exquisite.

According to my sister, this temple is valuable and worth a visit indeed.
