Spotted Burrowing Skink, Lerista punctatovittata

Having almost no legs doesn't appear to faze these skinks which forage for insects in the humus layer beneath leaf litter. They are
wriggly, slippery lizards, which makes them difficult to pick up from the bottom of a pitfall trap, which is almost the only way to find
them. Total length about 12 cm.
