Mangaka and Animator Yoshikazu Yasuhiko Begins New Serialization

The October issue of Afternoon magazine announced on Saturday that mangaka Yoshikazu Yasuhiko will begin a new serialization. Titled Inui to Tatsumi: Siberia Shuppei Hishi, it will start on the November issue of the magazine releasing on September 25. The announcement also indicates that it will be his final serialization.

Yoshikazu Yasuhiko is well known for his publications in Kidou Senshi Gundam Unicorn and its related series, including The Origin. Some of his other notable serializations are Dirty Pair, and Neo Devilman. As an anime staff member, he was involved in the anime productions for the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, Uchuu Senkan Yamato original series, Kaze to Ki no Uta Sanctus: Sei Naru Kana, Hoshi no Oujisama Petit Prince, Strange +, and more. Yasuhiko received a special award in the 20th Animation Kobe Awards in 2015.

The second paperback volume released back in the end of october.

(I missed them but Jesus and Jeanne were published in France, so I kind of hope his last title sees a french release too)

Yes it does, but Origin is really a re-telling of Mobile Suit Gundam TV series rather than Unicorn which is just a chapter within Universal Century, so is a bit strange to allude to Origin as if its a spinoff of Unicorn which it definitely isn't.

But I can see this error being made because UC is often used to refer to both Universal Century and Unicorn, which I find silly myself.

Technicaly it does however Origin is just far more important(and better) than most of the franchise that it deserves to be named and it woild even catch more attention.

I never heard of him, so honestly the first thing I thought when I saw his picture in the preview was "wow, he's old". lol

Otherwise, this sounds interesting.
