The queen protea (Protea magnifica) is a shrub native to South Africa. It's a feature plant with pink flowers and soft grey foliage.  The queen protea has the second largest flower head, measuring between 6–8 inches. The center has a black-tipped bulb, and the petals hug the center more closely than those of the king protea
