Built-in controls for variable volume, low pass filter and phase (0/180°) for optimum bass levels. Set power toggle to Auto on/off or DC control (12V trigger) for fast and easy on/off power switching in the sub and other home theatre equipment—all easily accessible on the back panel.

Strong, rigid and acoustically inert enclosure reduces unwanted internal standing waves for less audible coloration. And non-resonant Meddite MDF construction, with extra bracing and minimum thick baffles, ensures a more lifelike sound

Connect via LFE (unfiltered / low pass disabled) or stereo line level RCA inputs—complements any home theatre system (cables not included).

Questions

I have an Hst12 that just stop after I unplugged it and moved it to another room! The light on the amp comes on but when I switch it to auto on it goe’s off! It’s like it’s not getting the audio signal! I checked all inside! Can I get a replacement amp?

Why doesn't Polk make the HTS 10 or HTS 12 in white,just only black or walnut.The Signature and Signature Elite series comes in 3 colors,black,white and walnut,why not also the subwoofers

You can get it in white in other countries. I don't understand, but looks like the wood pattern and black are North American colors =(

Hello, if this subwoofer is turned up to max volume via the volume nob, can the amplifier blow the subwoofer? Thank you.

If the provided signal is not boosted, running the subwoofer at max volume is safe (but not recommended). Here are a few things to consider. One's desired volume level can differ from another. The Bass level output from an AV receiver/Pre-amp will vary, and if you hear distortion, back off the volume using the subwoofers volume knob or adjust the Pre-amps volume output.

Can I use this subwoofer with my Magnifi max SR instead of the subwoofer that came with it? I want more bass in my Magnifi Max SR system...

Hello, Experimenting with sub-woofer placement is recommended to try to achieve more bass information. Every room has 2 or 3 sub-woofer sweet spots and can be found when you go back to the listening position each time you move the sub-woofer to a different location. Playing bass-emphasised music helps with placment discovery. The sub-woofer which is provided with the MagniFi Max SR is the only sub-woofer which can pair with the MagniFi Max SR as it is a wireless pairing exclusively.

In my design I'm using in-wall Polks with the 265-LS. My plan is to recess the subs to save space, which means I need a front ported subs and the PSW 10 is my current choice. Will the power port on the HTS 12 be effected by this?

Hello, the Polk Audio HTS 12 subwoofer is designed for 360-degree bass dispersion. Bass energy is outputted from all sides and may cause vibrations in your cabinet. In addition, the Bass output may be lessened from the HTS 12 once recessed. This being said, I do recommend the Polk Audio PSW 10 subwoofer, as it is ported from the front.

I purchased a subwoofer but as I play my music the sub cuts out how can I tell if its my av receiver or my subwoofer ?

Hello, for troubleshooting, if using an RCA subwoofer cable, I would first check the cable. Try swapping out the cable; a loose or defective cable can create intermittent connection issues. Second, check the receiver's bass settings. If using a Marantz or Denon Receiver and your front speakers are set to LARGE, confirm that the bass setting is set to LFE + Main.
