Multi-Fineline announces the integration of its Morphpad technology in the Toshiba Biblio ebook reader mobile phone. The device has a touchscreen with a slide-out keyboard. The Morphpad display is used as a numeric keypad in portrait orientation while it easily changes to a QWERTY keypad in the landscape mode.
The Morphpad display has an integrated lighting system that consumes less energy. It is visible from all viewing angles and in all lighting conditions. The Morphpad display is a turnkey module that offers complete haptic feedback enhancing the touchscreen functionality.
The SmartInk Technology of the Morphpad display utilizes several colors set on a black background offering a high quality display and an amazing visual impact. When users experience power cut, the Morphpad display offers a crystal black surface attractive to consumers and product designers as well.

MFLEX adopted Pelikon in December 2008, a private company that created Morphpad displays, SmartInk technology and drive electronics. The SmartInk technology allows morphing of keypads and animation that can be rebuilt on any product.
