MATERIAL: The bed is made from pine or birch wood and covered with biological bee wax or painted (pine wood). Birch is a heavier and stronger material and from a visual perspective, you don't see so much wood structure and it is lighter.

I was so so nervous about buying a floor bed, getting that bed from Etsy, shipping, construction. You name it, I was was worried about it. I guess it’s classic new mom stuff. However, after a ton of research and online shopping, I decided to go with this bed, and I am beyond pleased. It’s beautiful, it was easy to put together, my baby loves it. shipping was so fast it got here before I was emotionally prepared to switch her from the crib to a bed. So it sat in boxes for weeks. However, I finally put it together on a whim, one night right before bedtime. It took about an hour, partially because I misread the instructions. It probably would’ve been even quicker otherwise. baby instantly loved this bed. It has completely transformed the nursery into an idyllic bedroom for my little girl. I am so glad I finally made the purchase.
