I eat way more ramen than one person should, so I was happy to give this a try. When they first arrived though I was a bit thrown off by how small the portions were. They are a bit on the small side. For the price though it's still a good value, but I'm in between eating 1 for a meal or 2. I wish there was 3 oz size. It does have the oz size in the listing but who really understands what 2.2oz looks like. The flavor is great though. Solid Tom Yum taste. Would probably be great to throw a couple of shrimp in. I only had some turkey so I used that and wasn't disappointed. Overall though I really like this one.

September 2020: The Best By date on these is December 2020 (purchased February 2020), but they are already tasting a bit rancid. They tasted fine when I got them so I guess they just go bad really quickly. The flavor packets stay good, just the noodles go bad. This was my third purchase, and this time I’m really certain. I would store in the fridge whatever I thought I wouldn’t eat within 3-4 months. Both my previous purchases I ended up throwing out about half the packages because they’d gone rancid. I kept the flavor packets though, and used them with some 5/$1 ramen from the dollar store, and that was fine.

I’m almost addicted to these things. Second purchase. If it’s not quite restaurant Tom Yum flavor (which I sometimes find overly sweet anyway), for around $.50 and three minutes, it sure scratches that itch. If I substituted some canned mushrooms, cooked shrimp, and cilantro for the noodles, I think it’d come pretty close. Can’t wait to try adding some coconut milk for a Tom Kha. Could an instant soup be any cozier in the autumn?

I have a low to medium tolerance for spicy-ness and without the chili powder added, I find this level pleasantly warm. My last purchase was a bit short-dated and the noodles tasted slightly off, but this round is good and fresh with a reasonable 9-month best-by date. About $16 with Prime shipping.

The balance is phenomenal preserved in a generously packaged product.
The packaging includes 3 separated spice packs per unit: 1 dry red pepper spice pack, 1 dry herb pack, and 1 paste pack all individually wrapped per serving.
Use all the red pepper pack and it’s a pleasant level 3 or 4 spice kick with outstanding taste.

I never heard of this brand before a few months ago. But I saw a YouTube blogger raving over it, so I had to try it. So glad I did! It puts the Top Ramen from the supermarket to shame! The faint lemongrass citrus note of the seasoning is delightful!

It doctors up incredibly well—add some shrimp or chicken, some baby bok chow and bell peppers, and it really turns into a delightful ramen meal. My only caveat is that it is slightly spicy, so if you don’t like heat at all, you might want to stick with the blander supermarket Top Ramen.
