SHARK Teak Oil Wood Preservative SHARK Teak Oil Wood Preservative is formulated from modified oil and special additives. It is suitable for reconditioning of old wood surface to become new. It is anti-mold with high absorption into wood. Paint film prevents water penetration and is smooth and no stacked layer.

Toa Shark Teak Oil No.T01 is based on modified natural oil and special additives that suitable for renew the old wood. The properties of this product are anti-fungi, good penetration into the wood that provide excellent waterproof and natural look without film. Suitable for all exterior woodworks such as wooden floor, wooden fence, wooden furniture and etc.
APPLICATION SYSTEM Surface Preparation
Old surface
For coated wood or wood with old or peeling paint film or old wood with no coating. Sand with abrasive paper to the wood surface. Sand over the painted film with TOA abrasive paper no.240-320 then clean the surface to remove grease, dust, oil or dirt.
New surface
1. Use TOA abrasive paper no. 240 – 320 to sand the wood surface until smooth.
2. Fill all wood crack and hole by filler.
3. Sand again until the smooth surface is obtained.
4. Clean the surface until no dust remain.
Coating system
Primer
Apply by brush with TOA Wood Preservative 1 coat. (Recoatable time is at least 30 minutes)
Topcoat
1. Apply by brush with Shark Teak Oil at least 2 coats.
2. First coat, allow the teak oil to penetrate into the wood for 1 – 2 hours and then wiping the excess Teak Oil that cover on some area.
3. Apply the second coat using the same steps.
Recommendation
The temperature of the substrate should be minimum 10 ํC and at least 3 ํC above the dew point of the air, temperature and relative humidity measured in the vicinity of the substrate. Good ventilation is required in confined areas to ensure correct drying.
HANDLING AND STORAGE
Storage condition
The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations. Keep the containers in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away from source of heat and ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed.
