Wood Museum of Springfield History

This revolver was decorated by Tiffany and Co. for the display at the Colombian Exposition of 1893 in Chicago. It is decorated in an art nouveau style and features repoussé and pierced silver work with a solid silver butt. The barrel and cylinder are acid etched rather than engraved. The four-inch barrel and the cylinder are decoratively etched and the frame is overlayed in silver. The hammer and trigger guard are case hardened.
