Hollywood asks Shu Qi to learn English

17 Oct – With actress Li Bingbing recently winning the role of secret agent Ada Wong in the upcoming "Resident Evil: Retribution" movie, more Asian actresses are being scouted upon for roles in Hollywood where Shu Qi is said to have rather high chances in Tinseltown, but are marred due to her inability to speak English, according to a report on The Daily Chili's website.

The report says that Hollywood producers who've met Shu Qi, want the Taiwanese bombshell to brush up on her English.

"She's hot. She can do well in Hollywood if her English is good," said an unnamed source that is apparently working on the production of the upcoming "James Bond" film.

The star is also rumoured to be a possible Bond girl, as producers for the film are said to be scouting for an Asian actress to take up the role among the likes of Tang Wei, Josie Ho, Fan Bingbing and Li Bingbing.

While the unnamed source also confirms that the actress is being considered for the role, the insider also adds, "Shu Qi has made a good impression with her Hollywood debut, "The Transporter". She may have limited dialogue in the movie, but she's wowed the American audience with her sexiness."
