Today on their Instagram stories, Akanishi Jin and Kuroki Meisa announced that they are divorced.
The now former couple’s statement read, “At this time, my husband and I have decided to change our partnership and go our separate ways as husband and wife.”
Jin and Meisa, who are still currently living together, said that their now former marriage will become a new type of partnership, with them serving as parents to their two children at its core.
They said that they will make no further comments about their divorce, and they asked the media to not bother their friends, family, or related parties in an effort to find out more information. They asked that the public please watch over them.
Jin and Meisa married in February 2012, with their first child, a daughter, following that September. Their second child, a son, was born in June 2017.
