Though Patipat Asavasena graduated in mechanical engineering, his desire and talent to work as an illustrator proved too strong. His first professional post was as a concept artist at Virus Studio where he developed his artistic skills. In 2006 he joined The Monk Studio as a 2D artist, where he worked with animators and other creatives on the feature film ‘Howi’. Since then Patipat has worked for various client all over the world in a freelance capacity, as well as working on several personal projects. I’m absolutely certain he’s never looked back on his career choice with regret.
